6 days ADEX exam Onsite training

6 days CDCA-WREB-CITA /ADEX exam Onsite training is conducted for full 6 days. We will cover the Prosthodontic, Operative and Endodontic portion of the Licensing exam. The difference between 4 and 6 days is that the students registered in 6 days session will get 2 full days of hands on practice under the direct supervision of Dr. Shalini Thasma.

Restorative portion of the licensing exam requires :

  • Class II Amalgam or composite preparation on mandibular molar #30- MO (if appearing for non-patient based exam)
  • Direct Posterior Class II Composite or Amalgam Restoration (MO, DO or MOD)
  • Direct Anterior Class III Composite Restoration (ML, DL, MF, DF – if Patient based Or #8-ML/MF if non- patient based)

Endodontics is a required section and will be completed on simulated teeth. Universal precautions and a rubber dam are required for all Endodontic treatment. Required Endodontic procedures:
• Anterior–Graded on Access and Condensation
• Posterior– Graded on Access only

The Prosthodontic Section consists of simulated preparation of two abutments (#3 FGC and #5 PFM) to support a posterior three-unit fixed partial denture prosthesis and preparation of an anterior tooth (#8) for a full-coverage ceramic crown.

Please be advised that the Prosthodontic, Restorative, and Endodontic training and practice are done using Kilgore typodont, Kilgore teeth, and Kilgore endodontic teeth.

Perio section of the ADEX exam is not covered in this training.
